You are not required to register for the Law, Science, & Technology minor. Just take the necessary classes. You petition for the minor at the same time that you petition for your major degree. Download the LS&T minor petition form here.

The completed minor petition form must first be signed by the appropriate person from your major program, and then signed by Prof. Pikowsky. See Georgia Institute of Technology General Catalog 2003-2005 at page 396 for additional information. Contact Prof. Pikowsky here to arrange an appointment so he can review and sign your minor petition form.

You no longer have to register for the pre-law certificate. Just take the necessary classes. During the second half of each semester, Prof. Pikowsky will post a message in the pre-law newsletter asking graduating seniors to make an appointment with him if they expect to receive a certificate. Fill out the minor petition form and bring it to your meeting with Prof. Pikowsky, but you don’t need a signature from anyone at your major program.
